Coffee Tea Cocktail

Bavarian Mint Coffee Mix
Treat yourself to a nice hot cup of minty, chocolate-flavored coffee.This recipe is excellent for gift giving. Simply make the recipe, package in jars and use a festive ribbon to attach a decorative label with preparation instructions.
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1/4 cup instant coffee powder
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ounce peppermint candy, crushed
Combine sugar, non-dairy creamer, coffee powder, cocoa powder and peppermint candy in an airtight container; mix well and store in a dry place.
RECIPE TO ATTACH:
For each serving, combine 2 tablespoons of the mixture with 1/2 cup boiling water; mix well.
Makes 8 servings.

Chai Tea Mix
For a fresher, more lively taste, try using whole spices and ground them using an electric spice/coffee grinder or mortar and pestle.
1/2 cup powdered creamer
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 cup granulated sugar
15 teaspoons instant black tea (or pekoe)
Combine all ingredients together and store in a tightly sealed container.
Makes about 15 servings.
To Make a Cup of Chai Tea:
1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon Chai Tea Creamer Mix
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons honey (optional)
Combine the Chai Tea Mix with the boiling water and honey, if using; allow to steep for 2 to 3 minutes.
Makes 1 serving

Cocoa Mocha Mix

1/2 cup instant cocoa drink mix
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup instant coffee powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Combine creamer, cocoa mix, sugar, coffee, cinnamon and nutmeg. Store in an airtight container.
RECIPE TO ATTACH:
For one serving, add 3 tablespoons of Cocoa Mocha Mix mix to 1 cup of boiling water.
Makes 10 servings.

Minted Mocha Fusion
This makes a great gift that is easy to make. Tastes even better.
2 cups Rich Chocolate Flavor NESTLÉ CARNATION Hot Cocoa Mix
1/4 cup TASTER'S CHOICE® 100% Pure Instant Coffee
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
PLACE cocoa mix, Taster's Choice and peppermint extract in food processor or blender; cover. Process until ingredients are combined. Store in airtight container.
TO MAKE ONE SERVING: Place 3 tablespoons Mint Mocha Fusion in mug; stir in 1 cup hot milk or water. Serve immediately
Makes 12 servings.

Spiced Punch Tea Mix
1 (22-ounce) jar instant orange-flavored breakfast drink
3/4 cup instant tea with lemon
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Combine all ingredients; store in an airtight container.
Makes 5 cups.

Apple Orchard Punch
This quick and easy punch, featuring autumn flavors, is a great beverage for your Halloween party.
1 cup orange juice
1 (32-ounce) bottle apple juice, chilled
1 (12-ounce) can frozen cranberry cocktail concentrate
1 1/2 quarts (6-cups) ginger ale, chilled
1 red apple, uncored, thinly sliced
Combine orange juice, apple juice and cranberry juice concentrate in large punch bowl; stir to dissolve.
At serving time, add ginger ale; float apple slices on top.
Makes 24 (4-ounce) servings.

Festive Hot Tea Punch
Especially good on a cool day.
6 cups water
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup NESTEA® Unsweetened Instant 100% Tea
8 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 1/2 cups Punch Flavor LIBBY'S® JUICY JUICE® 100% Juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
COMBINE water, sugar, Nestea, cloves and cinnamon sticks in large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil for 2 to 4 minutes. Remove whole spices, if desired. Stir in Juicy Juice and lemon juice. Serve hot.
Makes 8 servings.

Frothy Cappuccino Punch
Serve this for breakfast when you have family and friends over for a holiday brunch, or enjoy it during a quiet winter evening by the fire!
1 gallon freshly brewed, double-strength coffee*, chilled
3 (12-ounce) cans NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, chilled, divided
1 cup granulated sugar (optional), divided use
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 quart chocolate ice cream
1 (2-ounce) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, (optional)
  1. POUR coffee into large punch bowl. Combine 2 1/4 cups evaporated milk, <1/2 cup sugar and vanilla extract in blender; blend until frothy. Add milk mixture to coffee. Repeat with remaining evaporated milk and sugar. Add scoops of ice cream to punch and top with chocolate curls.
  2. LADLE punch into cups; sprinkle with cinnamon. * Measure 2 rounded tablespoons of ground coffee to every 6 ounces of water. Vary measurements to suit your individual taste.
Makes 50 servings.
HINT: To make chocolate curls, carefully draw a vegetable peeler across a bar of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate. Vary the width of your curls by using different sides of the chocolate bar.

Strawberry Tea Punch
2 cups water
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups boiling water
2 teabags
2 cups hot water
2 (32-ounce) bottles ginger ale
4 cups pineapple juice
2 1/2 cups orange juice
2 cups lemon juice
1 1/4 pounds fresh strawberries, clean, hulled and chopped
1 teaspoon red food coloring, (optional)
  1. Combine sugar and boiling water in a large pot stirring until sugar is dissolved; set aside.
  2. Place teabag in hot water and let steep for 5 minutes; discard teabag. Add tea to sugar mixture, stir and add ginger ale, pineapple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, strawberries and red food coloring; refrigerate.
Makes 10 servings.

Cooking Tips: Serve over ice. Adjust sugar accordingly to taste.
